At Royal Events, we believe every athlete, regardless of the size of their program, deserves to be celebrated. That’s why we created the Small Gym Showdown, an incredible end of season event dedicated to showcasing the talent of small gyms across the country.
Held every year in Bradenton, Florida, at the Bradenton Convention Center, the Small Gym Showdown is the ultimate destination event for D2 programs to show off their hard work and love for cheer and dance. This is more than just a competition, it’s a celebration of every small gym athlete, their amazing coaches, and the communities that support them.
The event kicks off the night before with our Athlete Luau! An evening where athletes and families come together to enjoy music, games, and Kona Ice. This party is a great opportunity for team bonding and building a community in the cheer world.
Teams will compete over the next two days with routines they have perfected all season long in hopes of taking home the title of Small Gym Showdown Champion. These athletes will earn unique awards such as medals, banners, rings, custom beach towels, and everyone’s favorite oversized ducks!
